Women Empowerment: A Step Towards Better Tomorrow

Women, it seems, are still being imprisoned in role definitions that obscure and distort the scope of who we are. Our creative life expectancy is only as long as our sexual value. Women remain fetishist for the things that don’t last- smooth skin, firm shape, while men are fetishist for the things that do- wealth, status, know-how. It has been said that the struggle for women is to be perceived as human in a world that allows them merely to be female. Let’s work for a future where the characters we portray, whatever their age, are allowed the full scope of their humanity.
Most daughters choose to be loved instead of empowered because there is an ominous sense that being fully actualized and empowered may cause a grave loss of love from important people in their lives, specifically their mothers. So women stay small and unfulfilled, unconsciously passing the mother wound to the next generation. As a woman, there is a vague but powerful sense that your empowerment will injure your relationships. And women are taught to value relationships over everything else. We cling to the crumbs of our relationships, while our souls may be deeply longing for the fulfillment of our potential. But the truth is that our relationships alone can never adequately substitute for the hunger to live our lives fully.

Whatever floats my boat

I shouldn't be up at this wee hour. My brain should be closed shut. I should be unable to think straight but my mind is working at the speed of an accelerated Photon. Actually to find out the value of this speed is quite technical so lets just say it is REAL FAST!
I have not published anything lately but that does not mean i am not writing; i am. It's just that my writing are weird and personal and dark and creepy. Not the best place to live in lately, my mind lol.
I took the courage to start this blog but i guess i am failing it. I find it hard to write something good enough. It is either too personal, too dark, too out-of-the-point, too vague, too technical or too lame-funny. Here is a funny confession though, i feel totally embarrassed to be an ex-fan of the TWILIGHT SAGA. There i said it, can sleep in peace now. Hopefully :P

ACETIC ACID

So I've been avoiding indulging myself into serious pondering lately but i have this awesome (^_^) talent of relating things (and people, khe khe :P) so I'm here to amaze you with a relationship i recently deduced. :D

Some people are like Acetic Acid. No seriously, they are. Let's see now, a quick revision on high school chemistry, eh? I know i am boring :P
ANYWAY!

  • Belongs to organic family, has a OOH group.
Now these people could simply make you cry. They possess the charm and charisma to make anyone fall into the trap. But, mind you, all of their appearance is purely fake.

  • Resembles water in all aspects ; colourless odourless liquid.
Ahh, WATER! The most exceptional gift of mother nature . A touchstone of sinlessness. An example of simplicity and purity . See they would appear as clear as transparent crystal, which you could look through. The most beautiful being.

  • It has a distinctive taste and pungent smell.
But once you get to have a taste of them, they would jag your tongue and throat with their sharpness. The saddest part is getting the blisters after the taste. The burns would take a long time to heal and meanwhile you won't be able to savour any other delights of life.

  • Melting and boiling point very close to water.Solidifies to a crystalline mass resembling ice.
Like I said they would heat up and cool down as the heavenly liquid. Act, in all ways, identical to water. They would pretend sinless even in extreme cases, making it very hard-almost impossible-to identify.

See, anyone of us can get into such an inevitable situation. But since we cannot tell by the look of these people, hence fall into their trap. The trick here is not falling but to stand again after the descent; healing of acetic acid burns..

Metaphorically speaking. You start the journey from the wrist, the road separates after you have travelled all the way up to the palm. Ultimately you will reach to the peak of any of the fingers. The variation of the peaks depends on the road you choose. THE Acetic acid is just  a minor  hurdle or-put it this way-a blessing of observation during your journey. Hence a bonus to identify the wolf in the herd, not by face but by pattern. Therefore difficult, but not impossible.

P.S. nothing personal here. Traits of acetic acid mentioned are factual, resemblance with any individual being is accidental and purely unintentional. CIAO! ^_^

Time and Pressure

Time and pressure, two most important factors in physics of materials. Remember how we always used to have 'under standard pressure' or 'when the time approaches zero' in our assumptions while making experiments. These were the ideal conditions. And remember that ideal conditions hardly ever take place in this world, and that is what Jannah is for. We Muslims believe this world is a test and the real life is the life hereafter. That life will be rewarded upon our deeds here.
We are given time and we are put under pressure every now and then by ALLAH. Muslims call it test. You are to perform your best, have faith that tomorrow would be wonderful and above all, believe that HE who has put you into this will surely never make your patience and hardships go into vain. Just hold on a little tighter, a better tomorrow is guaranteed for those who do not lose hope and faith.
ALLAH transforms sand into pearls, coal into diamonds, caterpillar into butterflies using time and pressure. Do not worry, HE is probably working on you too.

We All Have Our Days

We have our days, all of us. Not everyday is the same. and honestly, if it were, life would become very monotonous. Bright days teach us to value rainy days and rainy times remind us of bright era. The art is to enjoy both as they are there to make us realise each others worth. Similarly in our lives we are confronted by all sorts of happy and gloomy periods. They are for us to learn the lessons and move on, not grumble. The biggest of all tasks is to make yourself willing to learn. Appreciate the lessons, be grateful that they are there for your guidance. Do not let others belittle you whatsoever. Have confidence in your own abilities and talents. You are in no way less than anyone in this world. Failing a thousand times means understanding thousand ways to succeed. Failure is beautiful. Let is make you strong, not break you. Only the losers would understand the joy of winning. The essence of human life is to not avoid falling, but standing up after each fall. Each hardship will turn you into diamond. So do not let the crushing pressure break you. Resist it, fight it, oppose it and you surely will end up a gem. :)

I started this blog last night and am so overwhelmed that i cannot write anything anymore. It's like my brain is a big bowl of spaghetti (with sauce,YUM :P) with all my pondering tangled. I try to untangle one thought and end up meeting ten others.

Anyway, i have a few requested articles to write and there are a couple people i want to write about so yeah :P. I will update this blog soon. Let us just hope my obsession for blogging doesn't crash sometime soon :3

SO FAR SO GOOD. CHEERS!! ^_^

A song that had recently blown my mind away

Lately this song's been on repeat on my playlist. It is Tere Ishq Mein by Nescafe Basement.
The lyrics alone are mind blowing, i mean it is a very old kalam about ishq e hakeeki, alright. But the way they sung it has some serious talent right there. No offence but coke studio is all lame this season and oh-please-do-not-get-me-all-started on where Pakistan Idol is heading. -_-
Way to go Nescafe Basement. Thumbs up!
Oh and those of you who haven't heard it, here's a link. ENJAYEEE! ^_^

My Idea Of Happiness

I am sure most you have seen The Happy Page on Facebook. Lol. Funny how they illustrate small things that could make us smile. I don't know about you but for me most of the things were new. Like the other day they posted ''Happiness is.. Home on a rainy day''. I realised how we take petty things for granted. We hardly thank Allah for what we have because we are too busy asking for more. We are hardly ever happy, always demanding, never satisfied and constantly comparing our lives with others. It saddens me when i see this generation complaining about almost everything, like it's some sort of fashion. Huh.

My idea of happiness is pretty simple really. You have to do what you have to do. So stop whining over it and get your head in it. Give it your best. Even if your head tells you it is impossible, go for it. I bet life will surprise you. Allah never lets our hardships/hardworks go to waste. Believe in Him. Thank Him on each step. You never know where you might have been so be grateful. You'll be happier than you thought you'd be. ^_^

P.S do not judge me by this post :P. I myself get depressed often. But my depression is so lame. Like i get all sad and whiny over grades and stuff (heyy, NO JUDGING OKAY!? -_-). And no, i am not a nerd :P

WELCOME NOTE

Hey there whoever reading this post. You've just landed at my reign and are warmly welcomed :)
I have always wanted to create my own blog but that probably required a lot of courage. But here i am with it. I do guarantee that this blog won't bore you whatsoever :D
So LET THE FUN ROLL!!
